uSync 1.1.4
Device: Mac OS
Category: Utilities
Price: $3.99, Version: 1.1.3 -> 1.1.4 (iTunes)
Description:
uSync is the simplest way to keep two folders synchronized thanks to its easy to use interface. Any two folders shown in the Finder can be synchronized (one way only). With uSync you can keep as many sync items as you need, each one with its own settings. Adding a sync item is as simple as selecting a source and a destination folder and giving it a title. Once you've created a sync item, you can: ● enable background syncing. Changes are monitored in real time in order to keep your destination always up to date ● choose between three overwrite policies: never, always or only if the source file has changed ● choose whether files on the destination that don't exist on the source should be removed ● choose to exclude hidden files ● set up a custom filter. You can edit a list of words such that every file or directory containing any of them will be excluded ● exclude single files or directories. Other features include: ● before applying any changes to a destination the user will be shown the number of files that will be added, overwritten and removed (the individual file names can be seen, too) ● cancel a running sync at any time and restart it later ● syncs run in parallel ● each sync can be checked or unchecked in order to include or exclude it from mass syncing (each sync can also be started independently) ● automatic launch on login can be enabled from the status menu ● your Mac can automatically be set to sleep or shut down after all syncs have finished (requires Mac OS X 10.8 or newer and the respective Applescripts to be installed in the Scripts directory. For detailed instructions, please visit the uSync website). If you have any requests, suggestions or bug reports, please visit the uSync website at: http://desairem.altervista.org/usync
What's New
● More responsive progress bar: instead of waiting for a file to be copied, the progress bar is updated every second ● your Mac can automatically be set to sleep or shut down after all syncs have finished (requires Mac OS X 10.8 or newer and the respective Applescripts to be installed in the Scripts directory. For detailed instructions, please visit the uSync website).
