SQL Studio connects to SQL Server natively and doesn't require anything installing on your servers. Supported SQL Server versions include:-
SQL Server 2000
SQL Server 2005
SQL Server 2008
SQL Server 2008 R2
SQL Server 2012
Windows Azure SQL Databases
We have lots of future features planned including full interface for creating/altering tables, security configuration and job management.
These will be provided in future updates free of charge.
What's New
- All query tabs now operate independently from each other allowing you to run multiple queries and preventing a long running query from locking up the user interface.
- Long running queries can now be stopped. Upon stopping a query any data collected up to that point will be returned.
- Execution time has been added to show how long a query has been running for, or how long execution of a query took.
- A new query tab can now be created by right-clicking a database name which will auto-populate the correct server and database name.
- Support for reading and writing .sql files from Microsoft SQL Management Studio has been added.
- .sql is now the default extension when saving query files.
