SyncTime 2.0
Device: Mac OS
Category: Utilities
Price: $1.99, Version: 1.1.9 -> 2.0 (iTunes)
Description:
SyncTime is the simplest way to keep two folders synchronized thanks to its easy to use interface.
Any two folders reachable in the Finder can be synchronized. With SyncTime you can keep as many sync items as you need, each one with its own settings.
Adding a sync item is as simple as selecting a source and a destination folder on a local or a remote volume and giving it a title. Once you've created a sync item, you can:
● enable background syncing. Changes are monitored in real time in order to keep your destination always up to date
● choose between four overwrite policies: don't touch files already existing on the destination, overwrite only if the source file has changed, overwrite always or trash the destination (if it exists) and copy the source file
● choose whether files on the destination that don't exist on the source should be removed
● select one of three different sync types: one-way sync (default), two-way sync (also mirror destination back to source) and one-way move (delete source after successful transfer to destination)
● choose to exclude hidden files
● set up a custom filter. You can edit a list of words such that every file or directory containing any of them will be excluded
● exclude single files or directories.
Other features include:
● before applying any changes to a destination the user can choose to inspect the files that will be added, overwritten and removed (they can be previewed in QuickLook, too)
● cancel a running sync at any time and restart it later
● syncs run in parallel
● each sync can be checked or unchecked in order to include or exclude it from mass syncing (each sync can also be started independently)
● automatic launch on login can be enabled from the status bar menu
● your Mac can automatically be set to sleep or shut down after all syncs have finished (requires Mac OS X 10.8 or newer and the respective Applescripts to be installed in the Scripts directory. For detailed instructions, please visit the website).

What's New
● 3 sync types available: unidirectional sync (as was until now), bidirectional sync (sync between source and destination and between destination and source), unidirectional move (remove a source file as soon as it is successfully copied to the destination)
● 4 overwrite modes available: don't change destination file, overwrite only if source file newer, overwrite always, trash destination (if it exists) and copy source. With the last option, old versions of files can be simply restored from the Trash
● Bug fixes
