Description:Outline is an intuitive note-taking application for OS X with most convenient structure resembling real paper books: notebooks, sections, groups of sections and pages will help you to keep order in your notes, regardless of their complexity.
Outline is fully compatible with Microsoft OneNote file format and supports synchronization with Microsoft SkyDrive. This allows you to sync your notes with Windows PC and other devices with OneNote installed.
What is included into Outline:
**Editing and Creation**
Open your OneNote or Outline notebooks and edit them. Create new notebooks, sections, pages and start a new project with Outline.
**Formatting**
Change font size and color, apply styles and highlighting, create numbered and bulleted lists.
**Tags and Checkboxes**
Visualize your notes with associative icons, create To-do lists not to miss a thing.
**Clips from Safari and other apps**
Insert texts and images from other sources to complete your notes. Picture quality and text formatting are preserved. Original source link will be added for your convenience.
**Keyboard Shortcuts**
Use default Mac shortcuts and gestures to navigate and optimize note-taking process. Find the list of available combinations within the app.
**Password protection**
Sensitive data deserves special attention. Unlock OneNote tabs, set passwords to Outline native sections and keep your private notes safe and secure.
**Attachments**
Add any attachments to Outline page. They are clickable and can be opened in the corresponding third-party app.
All relevant files are in one place and always at reach.
**Search**
Enjoy fast and convenient search across your sections and notebooks. Enter a search item and search through your pages, sections, notebooks and navigate between search results.
**Synchronization**
Set connection to a cloud (Dropbox, Box and SkyDrive) and get seamless and reliable sync. Your notebooks will be accessible for OneNote and Outline for iPad. Applied changes will be carried over within a moment.

Current limitations:
- not all handwritten notes created in OneNote are displayed now - this will be improved in future releases;
- Microsoft SharePoint support is coming soon.
NOTE: Outline for iPad is a separate, though, fully compatible application. In case you would like to use Outline both on your iPad and Mac, you need to equip your devices with the corresponding editions of Outline.
