Because video processing is too technical to be entrusted to anyone…Because you want to preserve quality during an encoding.(NOTICE: This app is only localized in English and French. The others languages -written into this page- are only used to localized DVD-VIDEO interactive menus, and not for the app itself)MovieConverter Studio will automatically fix for you all your difficulties:▶ Adaptation to your Television Standard (videos will be conformed …but without jerking), ▶ Detection of Anamorphics files (your movies will no more be deformed after encoding), ▶ Automatic interlacing management (depending on your devices), to always preserve the maximum of informations. The broadcast on TV will always display frames properly and in good order.▶ Ability to transform any video from 4:3 to 16:9 (whatever its size or interlacing),But MovieConverter manages simple videos too. Some features:▶ To convert for editing (iMovie) or for broadcasting…▶ To convert to iPhone, iPad, AppleTV… and for your multimedia disk (up to HD Ready).▶ To convert to DVD, prepare and burn your DVD (with chapterized videos and animated menus, always in full screen whatever your TV type).▶ Customizable presets to load multiple files at once (e.g.: with your accurate settings),▶ And ability to override all automatisms (…reserved for experts only).▶ etc So, chose your flavor: "easy" or "expert".MovieConverter-Studio, expert's functions "for dummies".

What's New

▶ New feature : the "Subtitle" module 1st part: Add subtitles for DVD purpose • Most of text subtitles format are accepted: .srt, .ssa, .ass, from DVD Studio Pro format (.stl), from YouTube's time text subtitles (mpeg4-layer17) …and from images (.png). • You can preview subtitles contents before adding them to your video (to avoid a bad characters display). • You can re-synch subtitles to your video (when they begin and their playback speed). …This implementation is not perfect (no progress bar yet when adding subtitles) but works :-) ▶ Subtitles related improvements: • The Demux module: now extracts subtitles from your 'for DVD' file. So you could re-integrate them (via the Subtitle module) in another video or in your newly converted video (e.g.: reintegrate your original subtitles after a conversion of standard PAL-NTSC ;-)) • The DVD-VIDEO module: - Automatically -well- displays your added subtitles. - More compatible with 'approximate files from an external encoder' (e.g.: if your video contained valid subtitles, they will be preserved during the file correction). - Now takes care of all your customized menu's titles (some were previously ignored). - The 'chapters' feature (automatic or computed from your file infos) is more robust. ▶ Others improvements: • encoding module: - correct an aspect calculation error with anamorphous files (…files to be displayed other than their true size) - handle some buggy files more (e.g.: files with multiples aspect informations) - correct a uncommon failure (…with an NTSC video file with 5 duplicate frames every second, and converted to NTSC cinema mode!) - correct some 'standard NTSC' bad behaviors (so most for american or japanese people). • App's windows could not be badly displayed anymore • Memory leak bugfix, big code cleanup, a lot of minor bug fixes, … the application is more reliable :-) Enjoy :-)
